"I Do It"

This morning my little Payton said, "I do it" when it came to getting dressed. She had a little struggle with her shirt...but she eventually got it and was proud of herself :)

Grandma and Grandpa got Payton a cute spring dress, here she is ready for church today.

We also celebrated my birthday with the Hammond clan tonight. My favorite yellow cake with chocolate frosting...mmm. Payton was excited about it too, she thought it was a "big donut", too cute!! She couldn't even wait to cut the cake, she dug right in!!

All of the warm weather has got us pooped out, mommy and Payton took a nap on the couch, a great afternoon.

A Perfect Day

Last night Chad and I went to the temple and then celebrated my birthday w/ my family. Both of my sisters were even there- it was great :)
This morning I was able to enjoy a fun birthday breakfast with a few of my girl friends from the ward at MiMi's Cafe. It is so nice having Wednesdays off to be able to enjoy some down time.
After Breakfast Payton and I went to the Museum of Nature and Science with Jenny and the McGuire kids. We had an enjoyable day with friends, Payton crashed hard for her nap and then we enjoyed a nice dinner with daddy at Olive Garden.
It was a great Birthday- Thanks everyone!

Sunday Moments

On Sundays my little muffin usual asks for 'curlies'. What mom would I be to deny my princess' wish? So to top off her Sunday best Payton has a curly hair-do...she looked pretty dang cute today. Daddy had a few extra minutes before we had to leave this morning and he got this perfect shot of her. She is getting to be such a big girl!
Candid potty shot! Payton insists on being left alone while she does her... business. She climbs up on the pot and says, 'I OK mommy, call you when I done'. So Chad and I sit on the couch in the other room listening to her grunt and push until she gives us the go ahead to come in and wipe. Lol, I love this picture :)

Pathogens, Panties and Phantom

So I have had my camera out a lot recently and I decided to finally post a few of the pics.

Sad to say my two favorite people have been sick, AGAIN! Hopefully once we all get better that will be it for a while...

This year we are at 1 o'clock church and it is pretty killer for all of us...I mean how often would you see this 2 year old crashed on the couch?
The next few pictures are of our recent hobby, Bowling. Even Payton Pants comes with us, super sleuths and all :)

Payton is a hoot- she loves people watching and playing around. What better place is there than at a restaurant to do both. These next few pics are over the last month or so when we have been out to eat. Gotta love our little girl!!

The Christmas gift that gives all year- or at least until March 7th! We went to see Phantom of the Opera. We met D- Town Denver and had dinner at Buba Gumps then headed to the Theatre. The show was great! Thanks mom and dad :)

With my first Wednesday off last week I decided to potty train Payton...SUCESS!! It has been a week and with only a few accidents she is doing great. She even made it through nursery dry- Yeah!! She is loving "underwears" and we are loving the diaper free life!!
