Sunday Morning
The girls have been super cute together. It's a day full of giggles when they are playing nice and squeals when they are on each others nerves. Payton has been a coloring maniac and Lane is her partner in crime. Here they are yesterday morning over a powdered doughnut breakfast. Cheese!

3 States Later
This week I was on a business trip for 3 days and Chad was home alone to man the fort. I had a team building seminar in Vancouver Washington on Thursday and Friday. After working a half day on Wednesday we caught a flight to Portland Oregon and then drove over the river to Vancouver. The conference was a Blatchford Seminar and focused on team building, vision in work and personal life and positive attitude. It was a fun trip and I was full on info and this very tasty walnut, pear and blue cheese crumble salad I had with almost every meal. We were up before 4am on Saturday to catch our flight home. I missed my girls when I was gone but was so thankful for technology available letting me FaceTime with my kiddos several times a day.
While I was gone Chad was a busy boy and built himself a work bench for the garage-- he also organized the garage in the process (yay!!).
Laney has been increasing her vocabulary and her new words are thank you, sit down and cereal. I snapped a few cute picture of her with her 'beebee' and rocking on her chair last night.
Payton had a pajama party at preschool on Thursday. They watched The Land Before Time to finish up their dinosaur unit at preschool. Her favorite part of school is show and tell day every week.
Church has been a few weeks of craziness, after splitting our ward 2 weeks ago, Chad and I got new callings that are keeping us busy. I am the 1st counselor in the young women's presidency and Chad is the new cubmaster. Change and personal growth are always fun!
Well here's to another busy week in the Hammond House!!

Keystone
We went up to Keystone over the weekend and had a blast!! Payton and Chad each did ski school for a day. Chad had only ever been snowboarding and decided he was now mature enough to not want to be on his butt the entire day. Chads lesson ended up being just him so he got a lot of help. Payton really enjoyed hers and mastered the 'magic carpet'. We went up there with our friends the Gunderson's, so when we weren't on the mountain we all still had a great time playing games, eating, crafting and having a huge sleepover. The second day of skiing we alternated taking kiddos up the mountain. Payton and I took the big lift up and made it all the way down her first green run! They also had a gondola ride that took you to the top of the mountain where there was an ice castle. We had a great time and couldn't have asked for better weather or company!

Happy 2012!
So my new years goal is to blog every Sunday. It will keep me on top of things, my husband happy and my family informed.
We had a fantastic holiday season with family and friends. The girls were great with all the time we spent in the car. We all battled the flu over the holidays but managed to keep up good spirits. I wouldn't mind not doing laundry for a few weeks...
Carlee and Craig were home from school, Danyelle and Jared came down so it was the whole clan.
We got in a lot a gaming and managed to acquire a few new games over the holidays too :)
Tomorrow starts back to real life with Payton in preschool, me working and Chad and Lane at home.
Happy New Years!
