Puppy Please?

So we went to the pet store at the mall yesterday.

One of my all time favorite dogs is a pug, since being married to Chad it has morphed into a puggle. At the pet store there were 3 puggles and we decided we wanted to play with one. We asked the store clerk and sat in the little room. Payton had a blast!

They exchanged loves, she picked him up, he nipped at her pony tail and it was too cute.

She had a hard time saying goodbye to her new little friend. She also made mommy and daddy promise when we moved to a house (at some point) that we would get a dog, she knows we can't have one in our current place. We agreed because the truth is I am still a kid at heart, a kid that has never had a dog and wants one too :)

It was no surprise today that she asked to go back to the mall and see 'the puppy'.

Banana Bread and Buckets of Snow!

We enjoyed some good Colorado spring snow this week.

Payton and daddy made a snowman, dressed and all.

I got off work to a rain/sleet that had just started, then woke up from a nap with Payton to 4 inches of snow and more coming!

Snow makes everyone happy :)

One lazy Sunday mommy and Payton decided to make 'nana' bread out of the over ripe monkey meal sitting on the counter.

Payton loves being a helper in the kitchen.

She did great smashing the bananas! We ended up making a loaf and 11 muffins with chocolate chips. I think 11 should be the true bakers dozen...think about it. While the baker is making the delightful treat don't they enjoy a bite or two? To me that would mean 1 less cookie than 1 more ;)

Nuggets Game

We had a family night at the nuggets game. Payton is so cute, she cheered, danced and made it a great night for us. Go Nuggets!!
