All Smiles

Our Little Laney Lou
is
All Smiles.
I went back to work last Monday the 23rd, she was 6 weeks old. It was tough but it has been going well. The best part of my day is when I get home, get a big hug from Payton paired with a 'I missed you mommy' and have Lane smile and coo to welcome me home.
I love my girls.

Lakeside

Before we went out of town we went with the McDonalds and McGuires to Lakeside Amusement Park. The kids had a great time on all the kiddie rides, all smiles :)

I Wanna Be A Cow Girl

With a week left till work and school we decided to pack up our little family and head to the country. We went on vacation to Dillon, MT and Rigby, ID to see the girls' great grandmas and grandpas. While it took us 2 days to drive there and 2 days to drive home it was a relaxing and enjoyable trip. We enjoyed some new adventures, but most of all seeing our wonderful family.
Lane spent a lot of the trip sleeping, something she does very well.
Payton played cowgirl, I think she fit the role very well.
Grandma Mae enjoyed her new little grand baby. We even had the opportunity to break in grandmas kitchen sink for a grand baby bath while we were there.
Grandpa and Payton spent every morning out working on the farm. She loved riding in the CAT and the golf cart. She dug up trees and fed the cows, a regular working girl.
Everyone needs a break after a hard days work :)
Payton loved pickin' eggs every morning and evening. We got 40 eggs in the 3 days we were there.
After dinner the scraps went out with Payton, sh loved tossing them to the chickens.
Our cute little cow girl!
Grandma and Grandpa with the girls.
In Idaho Payton made a new best friend. Alyssa was such a cutie and played so nice with her littlest play animals with Payton.
Grannie and Grandpa Winscot took us to the zoo in Idaho Falls.
It was a pretty neat little zoo, we loved how much shade it had.

We took a few nice pictures of the bunch of us before we headed home.

Carlee was back in Rexburg for school and mom and dad helped her drive her car up.
We had a really nice trip and it was great to see all our family this summer. The girls did great in the car, despite a few roadside bathroom stops for Payton. It is nice knowing they did so well, it will make it easier to decided to take another trip in the future. Thanks to all the family that let us stay with them!!

Lane's Blessing

Lane wore a beautiful dress my mom made and she was an angel during her blessing.
Thanks to all the family that came to support us.

Winter Park

We spent two fun filled days at Winter Park with the McDonalds and McGuires. It was a nice break from the heat in Denver; we went fishing, on a gondola ride, the alpine slide, and a nice stroll thru downtown Winter Park.
