Spring has been good for our yard. Chad has spent a lot of time with the front yard landscaping and getting the back yard put together. We have a wonderful garden with tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, raspberries and we have starters of several kinds of pumpkin, cucumbers, dill that we will add in a few weeks.

Girls up Close

My Laney Love

I LOVE this little girl!! She is too cute with her little head full of fuzz and mouth full of teeth. She is so patient with Payton who never leaves her alone. She waves and signs food and milk. She is ticklish and her laugh is infectious. She is constantly on the go, she makes quick work of any room or the stairs by crawling. She plays well by herself but never lets anyone eat without her. We are just so blessed by this little girl.

A Tale of 5 Chicks

Over the last month and a half we have had chicks at our house. We initially bought 2 chicks, a grey one and a black one. Payton named them Magnet and Mega Mind. They were her pets for Easter and she cleaned their cage and played with them for about 4 week. When they got too big we arranged for them to go to a farm here in Colorado. She was devastated, heartbroken...

So we bought 3 more!!!

She loved her chicks, and they were nice (temporary, the best part) pets.
She had fun with them and we enjoyed the background noise.
Till our next set of Easter chicks.
