BBQ Dad

Chad got a "man grill" for fathers day. He put it to good use today and grilled up our fathers day rib dinner.

It was nice to have a relaxing Sunday because it is going to be a busy week...btw the ribs were fantastic and we are looking forward to a summer full of grilled goodies.

Nature, Belleview Park and Tutu Time

We have had crazy weather... hail and tornado sightingsDorothy are you sure we're in Colorado?

My favorite part of a fun filled day- nap time :)
We went to Belleview Park, played in the stream, rode the train and saw the animals at the petting zoo.

Friday I had some time off work so Payton and I hit up the local garage sales. She found this Tutu and hasn't taken it off since.

We went to watch UP! at the theatre. Payton has her pack pack full of popcorn and treats for the 3D movie. She really seemed to enjoy it, especially because she leaned over to both Chad and I and gave us a big hug and said 'thank you really much, I love you'. It has been a good few weeks.

Third Eye Blind

Chad's all time favorite band is Third Eye Blind and they played at the Paramount Theatre last Friday. We went and had a blast!

The GREATS

Great Grandma Mae and Grandpa Bert came into town for Carlee's graduation then went to Hawaii for a week with my family. When everyone got back we had dinner at Texas Road House to celebrate dad's birthday and Chad and mine anniversary. Payton got to ride the birthday horse with her PaPa.

Boulder Boulder Brings May Showers

The morning was beautiful, perfect weather for the race but as soon as the fly over happened the rains came down. We were soaked by the time we got on the bus to head back to Broomfield.
Jumping from a plane into a stadium packed with people...awesome
Chad and I after the race! We did it :)
After church a few weeks ago Payton asked if she could run in the puddles and we said sure.
She took full advantage skipping and loving every soggy moment.
