Family Pictures

We took family pictures last week. They captured Payton at 3 1/2, Mommy at 30 weeks, Payton and mommy's belly, and probably one of the last shots of our family as 3 vs 4. Enjoy!

Big Toe and Big Lip

CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT LIP?

All bandaged up but her pride was still crushed.

She ripped the entire tip of her big toe off. Daddy got the fun job of scrubbing it clean while mommy held her down.

Maybe we will learn to wear shoes outside...

or walk more carefully :)

Graduation

First I want to brag about my super sweet owl mug my sister, the graduate, made me. Notice the meal of choice, marshmallow mateys.

So we went to Danyelle and Jared's graduation from UNC yesterday. At 10 am it was a little windy but overall a very nice morning, little did I know at the time I needed sunscreen. Not too bad of a burn, I did get a bit of sun on my face.

It was a nice graduation. We went to Olive Garden with everyone after the ceremony and then to the studio to see their home away from home. Grandma and grandpa were in town and Carlee flew in for the weekend. It was nice having all of us together.

My Busy Week

Monday: Shanda Work 7-7, need I say more?

Tuesday: Grandma Mae and Grandpa Bert are in town, we spent the day down in Highlands Ranch and Chad studied all day and took a final.

Wednesday: Chad had his last final, Shanda worked 8-4, met her girlfriend for lunch and we took family pictures at 6pm (see the next post for pics).

Thursday: Met the elders for a plus one before Shanda worked 11-7, Chad did an inspection of the sprinkler system at our house (yeah I know first mention, we are set to close on June 3rd, more info to come), met up with grandparents for dinner.

Friday: Shanda worked 8-4, did Kellie's hair for mormon prom, went to Body World with the McDonalds and McGuires.

Saturday: Shanda didn't have to work!! Went to Danyelle, Jared and Scott's Graduation at UNC in Greeley, Lunch with the fam and graduates, BBQ party, Payton was pooped.

Sunday: Mother's Day, it was a great day! Chad made me wonderful ribs for dinner and cheesecake for dessert. Happy mothers day to all the mom's and grandma's in our lives.

I am happy to say this week should be a little less eventful!

I'm thinking Arby's

So I know this is kinda of silly thought but I felt like I looked like this a few times this week.

I will chalk it up to a craving.

Plus with Goodtimes no longer having curly fries, Arby's is the only solution around.

$1 value menu fries, wish me luck for this week :)

Our Short Bus

Chad: Hurry up Payton the bus is leaving

Payton: Which bus?

Chad: Our big red bus.

They race out to the car and we get in.

Payton: This is not a bus it doesn't have a lot of seats

Chad: It's our short bus

Payton: I ride the short bus everyday

Chad and I couldn't help but crack up at her matter of fact statement.

We love the funny things she says :)

Nuggets Game

Chad and I have enjoyed going to the Nuggets Playoff games. We went to game 2, a sad loss. And we just got back from a great win tonight. While the games are high spirited and fun to watch, 3 hours of sitting is starting to get to me and I informed Chad it would be the last of the playoff games I would be attending. I am now home, feet elevated and recovering from an evening out with my hubby :)
