Time Flies

My baby is getting so big.
Laney is such a happy little girl...i think that's why the days go by so easy and quick.
She no longer just sits, she reaches, bends, gets on her hands and knees...before long we will have a skilled crawler.
Until the next milestone I will just love up on my little Laney, while she still is little.

The BIG Bow

I feel like I have been managing my life a little better the past week. I have a clean house, I made dinner 3 nights in a row, I planned my coupons and grocery trips, I unpacked 4 boxes in our bedroom (only 2 boxes to go and they both have shoes in them), laundry is put away and I still managed to have time to paint and make some bows for my sweet cheeks.
Lane got her first tooth about 2 weeks ago, it is really starting to show now...I can see it in the pic above :)
She is my Valentine!

My Painting Partner

So my friend Seneca (I work with her, she is another special person who likes to play in peoples' mouths) invited me to a painting class 2 weeks ago. I needed a night out and said "YES" and I am so glad I did. We had a great time, part of it was because we all got to do our own thing. See...
From Kansas sunsets to the African safari.
She demonstrated a few techniques but the rest of the time we were on our own.

Step by step.
Final product!!

'happy' Girls

Payton and Lane have matching PJ's, footie's are great!

Miss Independent

Payton is getting so big. She loves to do everything by herself. She has been making her own breakfast now for some time but she recently decided she enjoys making sandwiches. She has made us sack lunches almost every day this week. Here is the end products...yeah i know, proceed with caution.
She is very intent when making her sandwiches.
Too bad she isn't as intent about keeping everything clean and sticky-free. Chad and I just chuckle as we move from nob to nob, the next one stickier than the first.

We Have a Sitter

A few weeks ago Lane started to sit on her own. Now she is a pro. She sits for about an hour, bends over to pick up toys and manages not to tip over when she gets excited or Payton gives her a run by hug.

Our Little Artist

Payton has been coloring and drawing non-stop.
She has great tools and plenty of space.
And an imagination that soars!
Here is the picture she drew of our family, she knows exactly who everyone is.
